It is a series created by Doupo Cangqiong's (Battle Through The Heavens) author, considered as a companion series, since it runs around the same time as Doupo Cangqiong but on a different world but both eventually shares the same sequel - Da Zhu Zai (The Great Ruler)

No announcements on their official Wu Dong Qian Kun weibo account, and their studio DC impression Vision is based in Beijing, so more than likely it will be released as scheduled

I learned that people's tastes and opinions is different from another, most of the comments I read doesnt give any reason, just "it sucks, graphics sucks, subs sucks, manhua is good not sure if donghua will be the same" that is it, no real review
On Tencent official stream site, it is rated 9.0 / 10 by subscribers
On Douban (metacritic and imdb equivalent) first season is rated 6.7 / 10 and second season is rated 7.8 / 10
This is similar to the ratings given to Doupo Cangqiong where the ratings increased as the seasons progressed

I would advise watching the first episode of season 1 yourself and not going by the comments. You may find that you enjoy it or maybe you wont but that is down to your personal preference. I hope you'll enjoy it but I know you may not also due to a difference in what is liked.
